AVIÁRIO

Created during my residency at Aviário Studio in Ferreira do Zêzere, Portugal, this series reflects a season of slow living, close observation, and exploration. Alongside nine other artists from around the world, I immersed myself in the rhythms of the small town and its surrounding landscapes. Much of my time was spent painting by the local lake and documenting the experience through film photography, while day trips to historic and coastal sites—including Tomar, Nazaré, Peniche, and Óbidos—offered further inspiration. The resulting works carry the atmosphere of these places, shaped not only by the land and light but also by the connections and artistic exchanges that continue to inform my practice.
